Art Feiro Marine Lab The Feiro Marine Life Center is located at the City Pier. Named after the late Arthur D. Feiro, the center is now a cooperative effort between Peninsula College and the City of Port Angeles.
After more than a decade of planning, fund raising, and hard work by the community, the Marine Life Center first opened its doors in the fall of 1981.
There are hundreds of intertidal creatures, fishes, aquatic plant life, and many "dry" displays to enjoy. Always popular is the unique horse-shoe shaped Touch Tank.
Visiting hours vary seasonally. For a complete schedule of events, fee information, and hours of operation, contact the Center at 417-6254.
Waterfront Trail Access The Waterfront Trail follows the waterfront of the Port Angeles harbor.
This 6.5 section of trail extends from the Coast Guard Station entrance gate on Ediz Hook to just west of the old Rayonier mill site before connecting to the Olympic Discovery Trail at Morse Creek.
